Bohey Dulang island is located approximately half an hour by boat from Samporna, an hour drive Tawau, Borneo, Malaysia. Once arrived, we had to have the permit from the ranger and a guide will accompany us trekking 600 meter above the sea level. Once reached the top, you will have a beautiful view of the surrounding islands.
There are sea nomads who frequently visited the resorts selling their catch whether they are fish, prawns or lobsters. Interestingly, these people don't speak Malay language; theirs is similar to Tagalog, a language spoken in the Philippines.
We stayed at Mabul Island where many dive resorts were located. It's a gateway to Sipadan Island, a popular scuba diving destination where pelagics are plentiful.
