Christmas Is Coming

Le Comptoir is getting ready

Xmas baking has started at Le Comptoir. I proposed to a dear friend to bake biscuits for her Xmas charity sale.
I used one of my exisiting recipe, matcha tea biscuits, for the Xmas trees.


I worked then on a honey bread recipe to make snowmen biscuits.


This recipe is lovely as you wirk with a mix of spices (ginger, cinnamon, cloves and muscade nut) and with honey and maple syrup... The smell that is coming while preparing the dough and while baking is just fantastic. And so Christmassy...


My last recipe was a dough with chocolate and almonds. I love those biscuits as they are crunchy on the outside but soft inside... Delicious.
