2 Ways to Make Your Own Acai Bowls at Home

King Berry Açaí

1. Acai Berry Bowl

The first formula comes from Nutrition Stripped, and the recipe developer behind this Acai Berry Bowl enlists both fruit and greens in her blender, along with coconut milk and chia seeds. Frozen bananas also play a starring role, and any number of additional toppings can be added, including coconut flakes, nut butter, additional berries, and other frozen fruit. Your berry bowl will come out creamy and rich, and you can always add more frozen bananas or ice to obtain your desired thickness.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp of King Berry Acai powder

2 heaping handfuls of organic spinach

1 frozen banana

½ cup coconut milk, unsweetened

Dash of cinnamon

Ice as needed to thicken

Directions: Simply add all ingredients into your high-speed blender until thick and creamy.

2. Acai Breakfast Bowl

This next acai bowl formula is featured on Food Network, and it too calls for acai puree and bananas; however, it also brings honey and granola into the mix. Acai Breakfast Bowls are the perfect morning meals to start out your day on a healthy note, and they are just as fun to look at as they are to eat. Coming together in just 5 minutes or less, there’s no reason you can’t make time to make this acai bowl your new breakfast treat.

3 tbsp of King Berry Acai powder

1 medium banana

½ cup blueberries

1 tablespoon honey

3 tablespoons granola

2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds

1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes

Directions: Blend the Acai and berries with half the banana, ¼ cup of the blueberries and the honey in the blender, stopping to stir and break up the mixture as needed, until it’s the consistency of a thick smoothie; transfer to a cereal bowl.
